ROV screening before committing divers to the water
A first pass with an inspection ROV reduced diver exposure and narrowed the scope of the follow-up dive.
Current at the pier made a full manual survey unattractive, so the structure was screened with an inspection ROV during slack water.
The recorded footage identified two areas needing hands-on assessment. The diver dive that followed was shorter, better prepared and limited to those two locations.
