Commercial diving services

Commercial diving is the working end of civil engineering: the same inspection, repair and construction disciplines used above water, carried out by qualified divers in ports, canals, rivers and industrial water systems. Every team works surface-supplied, which means the diver has an unlimited air supply from the surface, hard-wired two-way voice communication and a helmet camera, so the supervisor can direct the work, ask questions and record what is actually found on the structure.

Most inland and port work happens in low or zero visibility. That is not an obstacle but a working method: divers survey by touch along guidelines, work to a fixed sequence agreed on the surface and report section by section. Because the water is rarely clear, the value of the job sits in the discipline of the method and the quality of the record — measurements, photos, video and a written condition report you can hand straight to an asset manager or engineer.

We work for port authorities, waterway managers, municipalities, civil contractors and industrial sites across the Netherlands and Belgium. A job can be a two-hour check on a lock gate, a week of concrete repair on a berth, or standby diving support for months on a construction programme. In each case the commercial part is the same: a written dive plan, a named supervisor, a standby diver, agreed hold points and a report that closes the file.
