SBM / FPSO

Single buoy moorings and FPSO installations sit at the other end of the diving spectrum from inland civil work: offshore or near-shore, high-value, heavily proceduralised and always executed inside the operator's own permit and marine assurance regime. Our role here is supporting, not leading — providing qualified diving manpower and inspection capability within a scope agreed in advance.

Typical involvement covers inspection support on mooring components, hull and chain-table areas, assistance during maintenance campaigns, component handling and documentation of findings for the client's integrity file. Everything is confirmed per enquiry: what we can perform ourselves, what we perform with partners, under which conditions and with which certification.

We would rather decline a scope than accept one we cannot execute to the same standard as our inland work. If a request falls outside what we can safely resource, we say so at enquiry stage and, where possible, point you to a specialist who can.
